Nokia/Mobile C 3
Defective Mobile Set/Software

1) So that I am able to use Email during my USA visit commencing the following week I purchased one Nokia C 3 0n 14 December vide bill no. 3553 from Nokia Priority Partner, Venkateshwaria Distributors Pvt Ltd at E 12, Main Market, Kalkaji, New Delhi - 110019 (Tel 91-11-26412292). The purchase was under a promotion with Airtel which allowed me free Emails for 6 months.

2) Since, despite my best efforts with the Nokia Priority Partner and Airtel the Emails did not start on my Nokia C3 Mobile Set even after 48 hours, I took the Set to the Nokia Service Centre in Gurgaon, where I reside. The Service Centre did start the Emails on my Nokia C3 but in the process spoiled the arrangement of the keys on the Set. Now what the Set reads has no relation to what is written on the the keys. The Service Centre affirms that the Nokia C3 is a defective Model and I will have to use the Set as it is.

3) Upon my return from my USA now I am lodging this COMPLAINT. While I am shocked at the attitude of Nokia Service Centre, Gurgaon, the Nokia Priority Partner at Kalkaji are not very helpful either. To redress my complaint kindly arrange to:

a) Rectify the defects in my Nokia C3 Set, or

b) Replace the Set with a new fully functional Set, or

c) Refund the full price I paid for the Set together with my damages and costs.

I trust a reputed Company like yours will not force me to appraoch the Consumer Court or Statutory Authorities for the redressal of my COMPLAINT and I await your urgent and positive response.

Thanking you,

CHANDRESH KUMAR
