I purchased an 800 va inverter feb . couple of days back the battery failed. when contacted the inverter supplier (microtek agency) they said the battery comes under replacement warranty for only one year and repairable warranty for the next year. The battery is apparently beyond repair, and since the warranty has crossed on year, i am to purchase a new one. the warranty card we have only " 2 years warantee mentioned" and no other condition.
Is this valid? Am being taken for a ride? do ihave a chance in consumer cout? please advice.
regards
Arun
