Newly purchased Godrej Refrigerator Model EDGE GDE23DX4 (on 19-Jul) has stopped working within an hour of being installation by the service person. The customer care has very poor response and they do not even bother to answer calls properly.
After repeated calls, a service person came and he is lying point blank to the manager on phone - that the bulb inside the fridge has got fused and that no other problem with the fridge, when we can clearly see that other than freezer the rest of the fridge is not working.
And after spending so much money, we need to keep waiting for their response. After repeated calls, I got hold of the service manager number - who said he will address it in a day or two. Even then it is a service issue and not a manufacturing issue.
Atleast in other countries they have a term called "refurbished". None of the Indian companies have Integrity other than in their policy books. Maximum, they are going to offer a replacement - but I do not need that, I want my money back. How can I be sure the replacement may stop working in few months and then I will be forced to spend out of my pockets.
The company sure does not sell any more reliable products.
