Dear sir, I have purchased a Godrej washing machine, Model No GWF 650 FH/6.5KG from "Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd, " of 30/B Jessore Road, Barasat, Kolkata-127 on 13-10.
The machine was working as usual, but after about 10-11 month it started to have a problem_i.e. improper water inlet into the machine.
HenceI lodged a complain whose service order No. is 343838, on 04/10/10 through the same branch of "Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd." mentioned above. A mechanic attended on 06/10/10 and rectified that "Inlet valve fuse shorted".
Later when we again tried to wash our ciothes, it was found that the same problem had arisen. Again I lodged complain on 09/10/10, service order No. 346737, with the report of inlet valve problem & again a mechanic, named some S.Biswas attended on 12/10/10. He said that the inlet valve of cold water was defective ad it required changing. Hence as a temporary service, the water supply pipeline was connected to the hot water inlet valve.
After some times when I contacted them through telephone about the above mattre, the answer was, "Now the valve is not available, when it is available, it will be changed." But now, after more than 5 months, no attention has been bone, nor has anyone said anything about the valve changing. The both water inlet valve is now out of order.
