I bought 3 63A 4 pole 300mA RCCB at Rs.2200/-. from Best power system & Control, Palakkad on 23/12. It had 1 year warranty.

after 3 months one of them got damaged, and we had to open that RCCB, as our motor was not working and the line voltage was ok. When we opened the RCCB it was burnt inside.

We gave it to the distributor for replacement, at first he told that as it was opened warranty would not be given, when we said the voltage is ok and there is no problem to other two RCCB, he took the damaged RCCB from us and told us that he would sent it back to you. Later after 2 weeks when we went to him he gave it back to me and told me that company said warranty is not possible. i think he had just kept that RCCB with him for 2 weeks, had had neither asked the company or tried for replacement. Is this is what you call warranty?

only after opening RCCB we knew it was burnt inside, later we replaced it with a new one and the motor started working. From the distributor's response i came to know that if a light is nor working and a switch is on warranty period we have to send the switch to company or distributor with out checking if voltage is there is some loose contact in switch etc.

I would like to have your response in this matter and enquiry on your behalf againist the distributor.
