Hitachi 3-door refrigerator purchased on 01 May 11. Top door tends to remain open. No installation/demo visit by Company service engineer till date despite repeated reminders. Email and phone calls to company remain unanswered. A man named Manoj who claims to be the service engineer for Hitachi fixed up appointment but never turned up for visit and said that he is too busy and would come at his convenience. That is the standard of customer care by Hitachi - poor and unreliable.
DO NOT BUY ANY HITACHI PRODUCT. They are overpriced, quality is poor and the service is atrocious. Buy Godrej, LG or Samsung as their products are cheaper and have excellent reputation for service.
