NO GAS IN COMPRESSOR

Dear Sir,

This is in continuation to the below mail which I had sent last year regarding replacement of compressor of my window A/c. I was told by customer care that M/s Sheetal Aircon will check and get the issue resolved.

I am writing this complaint again and I am very upset with the product quality and service of we boought from HITACHI ie my window A/c.

I paid Rs 1800 /- to Ms Sheetal Aircon vide their Bill No 387 dated 19/4/09 towards filling of gas in compressor, The A/c was barely used for 2-3 months after that.

Not even a year has lapsed and I am told by HITACH service again that there is no GAS in the compressor and we will now charge you Rs 2500/- and get the same re-filled.

Please be very clear that I cannot spend Rs 2500/- every year on this Airconditioner hence I need a replacement to this AC now... they have the thrill to tell me that the warranty is only for 6 months and you will have to spend this amount each time.

I fail to understand why a consumer is cheated like this by HITACHI... Surprising indeed and I used to associate in my mind that HITACHI means quality and your A/c is Rs 8000/- to Rs 10, 000/- more expensive than Samsung and ELGI, then WHY BUY THIS PRODUCT AT ALL IF THERE IS NO DIFFERENTIATION

Certainly I cannot buy your product going forward and will ensure that any one in my contact does not buy a Hitachi product aswell. VERY DISSAPOINTING INDEED .

Going forward I booked another complaint on 10/4/10 your toll free no as &-- Complaint No - 096100403967, which was finally attended on 15/04/10 .

As on date the AC is with your team.

I would need to speak with a senoir person at Hitachi to get my grievance sorted out and settled and I want the machine replaced immediately.

I have a complaint to make wrt my a/c purchased on 20/7/04 from M/s Naina Electronics, Shop No 40 and B-7, DDA Shopping Complex, Mayur Vihar, Phase-1, Pkt-1, Delhi-110091, Tel No 22758228 vide Inv No 6993, fitted at my house, 167-B, Pocket - 1, Mayur Vihar Phase -1 Delhi - 110091 .

I had asked their person to visit us today and we have been told that the GAS from compressor is leaking and there is lot of noise in the a/c when it runs. The remote for this air conditioner also does not work.

The basic reason to buy Hitachi against LG OR SAMSUNG was to avoid such issues at any later date when the warranty for compressor is 5 years!!!

The a/c at that point of time was the most expensive as againt other brands available in the market and this needs to addressed right now.

You are requested to get the compressor changed immediately before the summer season starts and the heat is on peak
