I had given my HP Photosmart C6188 All in one printer with Serial No: MY6B8H425K. for Paper Jam/ squeaking roller noise while scanning to the authorized service provider here in Pune on 28.06.2010.
The service provider is
Redington India Ltd, 201-206 Sheetal Plaza, off F.C. Road, Model Colony, Pune 411005.
The work order number given by Redington is PU/10/1068. The engineer Mr. Mayur there assured that they will call me with the status of repair within 48 hours, but even after more than 1 week I didn't receive d any call from them. I have contacted Redington daily for the repair status, and was told that printer is ready but they cannot rectify Noise problem due to unavailability of Spares. On 15th July I personally went to Redington; they returned the printer in totally not working condition as error messages such as “INK SYSTEM FAILED” / “PUMP MOTOR STALLED” kept coming.
The engineer bluntly told me it is not repairable.
I am very upset with the service provided by HP's authorised service providers as to how a working printer is rendered useless by these people. Now I want HP either to repair the printer or give me a replacement printer for goof up caused by the service provider and their negligence.
