I had bought Hitachi window a/c 1.5T last summer in Jun-11. This year at the season beginning when i switched on the a/c it was not cooling properly.

Since it was Hitachi so called high quality, i thought it must be just servicing need... & accordingly i registered a request for servicing.

I mentioned the same problem to Engineer (who came for servicing from On spot Ghaziabad), he also assured that it is servicing problem only.

But the low cooling problem persisted.. i registered a complaint.. again an engineer from On spot Ghaziabad visited..he diagnosed that there is gas leakage in the a/c it need to be refilled so had to be sent to workshop. I felt quite strange.. that how can a a/c within 1 year can have such a problem. I had been using a/c of LG & Samsung from last 5 yrs, i never faced such problem. I had invested Rs 10000 extra to buy Hitachi considering it is quality product. But i got highly disappointed to see the status of my a/c.

After gas refilling, i got the a/c installed back, but same problem of low cooling persisted. It clearly means that the great qualified engineer of Hitachi wrongly Diagnosed the problem of Gas leakage. Fortunately the a/c is in warranty, otherwise i would have paid Rs 3000 & to my pity without the solution to the problem.

What a great service from one of the best air conditioning company.

I fear, my warranty of 1year is going to expire on 21 Jun, looking at the current situation my warranty shall be extended at least for this season
