I am in posession of an IFB Senator top loading washing machine and have entered into an AMC for 2 years. Though the service has been satisfactory during the initial period, off late the service has deteriorated and whenever the service personnel attends the complaint, they are more interested in selling atleast 4 packets of Descaling powder than attending to the complaint. Recently I have made a complaint regarding the belt change and they attended to the complaint within 3 days. Since the machine was making unbearing noice during washing/rinsing, I have been lodging complaints since 8.6.2010 and the standard reply from their Customer Relation Centre is " the fault would be attended within 24 hours " and till date nobody has attended the complaint. I suggest that if IFB is not able to attend to the complaint, they should be honest enough to tell the customers the same and ask the customers to explore alternate options.
