I bought the machine in May 10. To install the machine itself took more than a week, because the local service guys had other priorities... had to really threaten the Visag coordinator one Ms Vinila that I would approach a Consumer Court, beacuse the loacl I/C one Mr. Srinivas refused to speak or take calls... that much for IFB's heralded promises.

On 16 Oct 10, we registered a complaint no. 5277452 with the IFB Call Centre that the machine was not working correctly because it making an abnormal noise nad water tended to overflow from the top and the detergent tray! Till 19th there was no response whatsoever. When Ms Vinila, the Visag coordinator was contacted, she said the guys were on vacation! (sell the product and to hell with the customers, if they have a problem).

On 21 Oct 10 one fellow came from the Service Centre, who knowledgeably stated that the IC Board was bad and required replacement! He said he will try to be back within three days.

When nobody turned up, we again contacted the IFB Call Centre who promised prompt action (sitting in Bangalore). None turned up... on 26 Oct another came and dismantled the who machine and concluded that the previous technician had got it wrong and the IC number quoted itself was incorrect... he also stated that he will be back in three days...

When nothing moved, I again called up the most toothless IFB Call Centre during 03-04 Nov 10... who promised immediate action and that he would get Mr. Srinivas to contact me on a war footing.

I am still waiting and no war or any urgency or customer care from IFB. Not even a courtesy call that they are working on it!

It looks like IFB's position is, we sold you the machine, it was fine; now fend for yourself!

Presently, not only do we doubt the quality of the machine supplied, but the very ethics of the Company... a general search of the Internet throws up numerous such experiences with IFB over the last many years; many in ur portal itself.

I would like to ask the CEO of the Company, Mr. G. Dasgupta, if he would accept that the washing machine he bought from say LG or SANSUNG give the same experience that we are going thru' with IFB?

We would like an immediate repairs or a total replacement of the machine with a new-certified-working replacement or total refund of our hard-earned money.
