We have purchased RO52 unit (ZERO B) on 27/09. It was covered under Annual Comprehensive Maintenance contract vide invoice No.660493/date21-12-11 for one year i.e.upto20/12. The filters of the unit were changed on that date. From two days from the date of the contract we are experiencing many troubles. Recently, the filtered water is coming with bad smell and the taste is also changed. (previously the water filtered was just like the taste of mineral water). We booked a complaint No.397063/ dated 26/03.(through the toll free No.180030181818 of the company.) The company people promised to repair the appliance within 3 days. After 4th day, my phone call made to the company revealed the complaint was put as "Priority" and the people promised to attend the work on that or next day. After one week my phone call made to the toll free No. I was informed that the matter is being referred to the service department. Till date, ie. upto 07/04 no person attended the appliance. Time and again, we were complaining and were forced to purchase mineral water from outside. The company has charged a fabulous amount (more than Rs4000/-for the Annual Comprehensive Maintenance contract.) If we purchased mineral water from out side also the amount incurred would have been nearly the same amount. The appliance was purchased for an amount above Rs14000/- Hence we request the company to see that the problem is rectified immediately. Otherwise, consumers will feel that the amount expended on the appliance is waste as we can as well purchase mineral water from outside incurring a lesser amount for a year when compared to the amount incurred for getting the appliance serviced under ACMC.
