Dear Sir,
My subject referred domestic water purifier stopped functionig since 08.07.2012. The complaint lodged with the company Ion Exchange (India) Ltd on 08.07.2012 bearing complaint No 347123026 has not been attended by the company so far despite 4 days have passed. My above water purifier is under AMC from 29.01.2012 to 28.01.2013. Despite daily telephonic reminders to them (tel no 1800 30 181818) the company has failed so far to send the technician for repair. As potable water is an essential item of necessity and company taking Rs 3750/= as AMC charges but not providing services amounts to unfair trade practice.
Kindly take urgent necessary action as the undersigned and his wife being Senior Citizens facing lot of health problems for non functioning of the above water purifier for which we purchased incurring Rs 13900/= and Annual AMC of Rs3750/=.
