I purchased a Milk Cooker branded as "Expresso" and manufactured by J.K. Stainless located at:
199 Mint Street
Chennai 600 003.
The product has a whistle (which the package claims is a 'melodious' warning system). This whistle creates a very high pitched loud noise which is almost unbearable.
I procured a noise meter (dB meter) to measure the noise level generated by this whistle and it comes to around 110 dB. This level of noise is considered unsafe and unhealthy for humans and I am considering failing a complaint in consumer court against this product.
Please do not purchase this product. I am shocked that this kind of a product is sold to consumers without regards to their safety and health. This is an extreme health hazard.
