I have purchased one 20 Ltr capacity Ken star Microwave oven, while I was working at Visakhapatnam in 2008. The Model number and Sl no of the said microwave oven are Om 30 DCE and 8605080089 respectively.
I have been using this oven very sparingl since I purchased the same. Meanwhile I have shifted my residence from Visakhapatnam to Vadakara, Kerala State due to my retirement from service at Visakhapatnam.
The Oven started malfunctioning its PCP very recently, as a result, Cooking time could not be programmed. The Service centre of Kenstar is being managed by Video con group that deputed their mechanic from Kozhikode Service centre to rectify the PCP but he could not rectify the fault due to non availability of spare parts.
According to the people responsible for service Center told me that the required spare part is not available with ken star.
It is highly irresponsible on the part of Manufacturer not to ensure availability of the spare parts at least for 5 to 10 yrs from the date of manufacturing date.
I have tried my level best to contact higer officials of Video con group at the E-Mail address given in their web site but did not accept any E-Mail.
Hece, my Microwave Oven became useless due to purchasing the product from a company which cannot ensure prompt after sales service to its customers.
