I bought a LG washing Machine LG WF-N7036DN (Serial No. 906NLPQ003880) of capacity 6 Kgs on 26th October from Electrovision, Suri, Birbhum, West Bengal (03462-256742) - dealer of LG Washing Machines. From the 1st week of September the attachment to the tap of the inlet water hose has got damaged and it was informed to the Service Centre Suri (03462-259058) for necessary action towards the replacement of the same for proper funtioning of the Washing machine. Though on the warranty card it is mentioned that it "comprises of a 2 year warranty on all Parts except Lint filter, knobs, inlet/outlet hose & Top Covers", the service centre at first reject the plea of free replacement and confirmed that the spares is to be purchased and only the service is to be provided free of cost. Since the matter was urgent, it was told to send the service engineer with the spares on payment basis. The service engineer after one week arrived with a bigger attachment and told that the particular required size of the attachment is not available and it would be available after some time. Again after one week when interacted with the Service Centre, Suri, West Bengal regarding the arrival of the required attachment, the reply is not as it is ought to be i.e., when the spare will arrive the damaged part will be replaced and so on and further added that presently audit is going on so upto January nothing can be done.
My purpose of complaint is surely to get the damaged part replaced as soon as possible, but also to inform the LG business think tank that if this situation continues then surely people will think twice before buying another LG product.
Please please help me out.
