I am glad to introduce myself as Mr. Ujjal Chakraborty working in
Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata. I would like to bring to your kind notice
that I have purchased a mobile from M/s Mobile Store Limited, Holding No.112/A, Ward No.12, P.S. Barurpur, 24 Paraganas (south) Dist., Barurpur on 21/07/09 vide Invoice No. WB/1628/0001/5390. A scratch card was given to me and I won a “Reebok T- Shirt”. As per the instructions given in the stores I duly sent the voucher for the gift to their Noida address in the following week. I waited for two and half months I sent a message enquiring about the gift.
I received reply as follows: “Thank you for your e-mail dated13th Nov' 09 enquiring on the delivery status of the gift offered through Win-Win offer. We believe our representative has answered your query and hope it is to your satisfaction”. I received the same reply when ever I am sending a mail to them.
Atlast with great difficulty wen I contacted them over phone directly their executive bluntly replied that my gift was not listed or entered in the Computer. I have sent the scratch coupon by "certificate of posting" and it is also clear that no one has claimed against my name (since the entry is not there in their
computer). So far I spent considerable amount of money in contacting them but in vain. When I have gone through this Consumer Complaints.in site I found that the similar thing has happened to Mr. Jay D. Hathiwala from Gujarat and also to Mr. Rohit Yadav. I don’t know how many are being cheated like this.
Please look into this matter and do the needful to curb this kind of Consumer cheating and harassment.
