Phone not being recieved from the service centre even after 2 weeks

My Motorola XT 311 got spoilt in less than a month of purchase. I asked the person incharge at the service centre for a replacement of the phone. I was denied replacement as they said replacement can take place only within 7 days. I gave it for repairs on the 23rd of May at Borivali, mumbai service centre. They told me it would take 8 days to cahnge the board and software of the phone.it's been 2 weeks and they aren't picking the call and when they do so they say it'll take more time but not telling me the exact date. I am fedup of trying to call them and ask about my phone. I've been disappointed with the service. I'm without a phone for almost a month now. First of all i should have got a replacement, how can a phone get spoilt within a month, that means i was sold a default peice. I hope you take some action.please let me know what to do and whom I should approach. I;m not getting a proper response. It's within warranty period.
