Dear Amol / Ankit,

FOR YOUR INFO, THERE WAS NO CONFIRMATION GIVEN BY ANYBODY FROM GURGAON. I HAVE THEIR WORDS THAT THEY CLEARLY DENIED ON THAT DAY WHEN ASKED ABOUT TO DELIVER THE SAME WITHOUT CARTON. BUT YOUR GUYS DELIVERED IT AFTER NON APPROVAL OF THE CIENTS ALSO. A INTIMATION DOES NOT MEANS THAT EVEN IF SOMEONE IS INTERESTED OR NOT INTERESTED YOU KEEP ON DOING WHATEVER YOU WANT. IT COULD BE DELIVERED ON NEXT DAY ALSO, BUT NOBODY SAID THAT THEY ARE OK WITHOUT CARTON OR WITHOUT PROPER CARRIAGE – AGAIN I SAID THAT IT WAS A GIFT, & THE WAY IT WAS REACHED TO THEM DIDN’T SHOW ANY POINT THAT SOME PROFESSIONAL COMPANY HAS DELIVERED IT OR A ROAD SIDE SMALL SHOPKEEPERS HAVE DELIVERED IT.

I HAVENT GOT ANY REPLY FOR YOUR SIDE ABOUT THE SCRATCH WE GOT ON THE TELEVISION. PLEASE REPLY ON THE SAME, AS THE REASON FOR THE SCRATCH COULD BE THE SAME – TELEVISION WITHOUT COVER.

NOW, THERE IS ONE MORE PROBLEM I WANT TO MENTION HERE, THE TV’S CHANNELS GETS CHANGE AUTOMATICALLY, EVERY NOW & THEN. THE COMPLAINT WAS LODGED TO NOIDA STORE, THEY HAVE SENT ONE GUY WHO CHECKED IT THOROUGHLY, AND SAID THAT NOW THIS PROBLEM WILL NOT COME UP IN FUTURE. BUT THE SAME PROBLEM IS CONTINUING TILL DATE.

I WANT REPLY FOR THESE TWO THINGS URGENTLY, OTHERWISE HAVING NO OPTIONS LEFT WITH, I HAVE TO CONTACT CONSUMER FORUM.

It was like we sold the product on 24.1.2010 and customer told that he wants the delivery in gurgaon on 26.1.2010 and we all know that it was national holiday and we are not able to find any commercial vechile because it has to cross three states in one time So as per the customer requirement i decided to deliver through private vechile and it was difficult to load the TV with box in that vechile and we took this step after cinform from the customer who was in gurgaon.

Dear Gaurav,

As per our teleconversation yesterday, please find the attached sheets of the cash memo given by the NEXT store in NOIDA. Also, please find the 2nd slip, which confirms collection of INR 800/- against the carriage charges.

Let me reiterate the incidence happened.

I went to your shop available in NOIDA sector 18 on 24th Jan to purchase a CTV (WHICH IS A GIFT FROM MY SIDE TO ONE OF MY RELATIVE). That television had to be deliver in Gurgaon (address for which is mentioned in the cash memo). Your store Manager – Mr. Ankit Agarwal, asked me to pay INR 800/- over & above the CTV cost, against which – he will send the deliver vehicle directly from your ware house to Gurgaon and deliver the consignment. He told me the same will be deliver on 26th Jan –evening time. I paid the asked amount believing the words of the Manager and believeing in the brand name NEXT, as I am a regular customer of yours. I bought one washing machine and a microwave last year, from this store only.

On 26th Jan, my relatives received a call in the morning from Next, asking if he would mind if the consignment will be deliver to him without the outer carton. My relative had replied that neither this is for the first time, he is receiving any consignment and nor NEXT is delivering the consignment for the first time. He clearly told that consignment should be deliver in proper manner. The person who called disconnected phone without any reply.

In the evening, 4 guys reached to my relatives house with the television – as mentioned in the morning without Carton of the TELEVISION, the television was wide open, they put the same in the house in a hurry, and they asked my relative to sign the receiving letter of the consignment, the very second my relative signed the letter, they ran away - without checking if the television is in working condition or not, things should be with the television – like remote, instruction booklet, Gurantee card, etc delivered to them by hand. (AS THERE WAS NO CARTON). Here, I would like to mention the delivery vehicle came to them was not the carriage vehicle. – IT WAS A PRIVATE CAR (SANTRO).

After they went away, my relative switch on the television and saw that there is a scratch on the upper side of the screen, that very moment they called me and informed situation happened with them.

It was very disgusting momemt for me, as I have told the store manager & other guys on the day when I was purchasing that CTV that becase it is a gift for someone, I want them to deliver it. Otherwise I would have purchased it from some of the stores available in Gurgaon only. Or, could have took it there by my car only, the petrol expenses of the same would cost me INR 200-300 only. But whatever asked, I have paid. Only to get betrayed in last.

I called up the same time at your store no. given, some MR. Rawat has received the call & told that he himself is aware of the case, & said because no commercial vehicle was not available, they have delivered the TV in pvt vehicle. Also, he told me that he checked the TV himself & there was no scratch while putting the same in car. So, that means while putting it, if there was no scratch, there will be no scratch while taking it out also??? Who takes the guarantee of it, without proper carton / cover on it??? After, a long discussion over the phone, he told me, that he will check all the details and will get back to me in one hour and TILL DATE NOBODY REPONDED BACK.

This is highly unporfessional attitude shown by your staff. Instead of appolozising for wrong thing done KNOWINGLY, they THINK THEY HAVE DONE THE RIGHT THING. But all this things done with the customers, will ruin the brand image of NEXT very soon.
