I HAVE PURCHASED NOKIA 5130 EXPRESS MUSIC MOBILE SET ON 21.12.2009 FROM LIMTON PVT LTD, A NOKIA PRIORITY DEALER AT 13 & 14, B B D BAG (E) KOLKATA 700001 .TODAY 2nd FEB AT 9 PM I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM MY SERVICE PROVIDER (AIRTEL) STATING THAT "AS PER GOVT DIRECTIONS, YOUR HANDSET HAS AN INVALID IMEI AND WILL BE BLOCKED IN NEXT 24 HRS . TO CONTINUE USING THIS NUMBER, USE YOUR SIM CARD ON A VALID IMEI HANDSET ". IN THIS CONNECTION I HAVE TO STATE AS UNDER :
[1] Registration of valid IMEI no. is the responsibility of NOKIA
and customer is only suppose to use it hassle free.
[2] Why should I suffer for the IMEI number now stated to be invalid by Airtel. Plese note that I have paid
for the product which is inclusive of all the features along with valid IMEI NO .
[3] Please solve my problem immediately and ensure that my handset is not blocked by AIRTEL due to invalid IMEI no.
