I took my LESS-THAN-9 MONTH OLD NOKIA mobile phone to NOKIA CARE on North Usman Road yesterday 27-5 an asked them to rectify the defect that the mobile developed, namely, the certain keys were not functioning: you could not get any result when you pressed eg the key for ghi4, or pqrs7 or the navigating key
(down key). The man at the NOKIA care examined my mobile, said the panel needed to be replaced. However, he said NOKIA CARE did not have the spare FOR THIS MODEL, and refused to service it. He advised me to search the nokia mobile shops in chennai for a spare panel for this model. You cannot advise a customer to go round all the nokia mobile shops in chennai in search of a spare which NOKIA care ought to provide my mobile with.
This is clearly unsatisfactory service IN FACT NO SERVICE. One does not expect a reputed name like NOKIA treating their customer with this kind of callousness. I am disabled from using this mobile now all of a sudden. Please advise me what I should do further.
The phone was bought on 05-AUG-09, model no. NOKIA 1650 for Rs. 1720.00.
