I bought a Nokia N8 by placing an advance order with Phone shop, authorized outlet for Nokia. The set went just blank and could not be powered on. The Nokia care center in Thane, Prudent Telecom Services sent the set to Delhi for repairs. The set was returned after nearly three weeks. However, the set went again blank just after making a call. The screen was not receptive nor I could switch it off. The menu button was only indication, however the button was glowing on off repeatedly.

I complained to Delhi, the Nokia care centre and really was frustated that they again asked me to deposit the set for repairs at the same Nokai care centre in Thane.

I feel cheated. Nokia must replace the set. The fact that they are avoiding its replacement proves that they are not at all confident that a new set will behave. It only proves that N8 has a serious technical fault. Please caution your near and dear ones about the problem so that they do not fall prey to Nokia's cheating/fraud.
