Poor ONIDA AC service at Nagpur

HI EVERYONE

I would like to updates the entire consumer who is reading this complaint below.

I have purchase ONIDA 1.0 Split AC in 18th March it took me to reach ONIDA office for complaints around 03.04.2009 because all ONIDA employees are very busy. After purchasing just in 5 days the Gas was leaked out. I have called the dealer he did something and again it started, after a month again the gas was leaked out I have complaint with LG.

Frankly speaking Customer Care for ONIDA is really very hopeless, I think in India still BIG companies don’t even know the how to run customer service station.

I called at Mumbai office at 022-30881792., this person which is here is just to logged the complaints and give docket no, means like a postmaster. After long discussion and many requests he gave me the following nos.

1. Nagpur Office No.:- 0712-2295901.

2. Mr. Gautam :- 9767895027

3. Mr. Sanjay Marsetwar: 9767895059

4. Mr. Shekhar Dev: 9767895001.

I would like to tell you the discussion with them one by one

Person No.1 Lady working with ONIDA Ms. Varsha can pick your phone but she may keep at any moment since busy in chatting with other frnds. Not even able to customer complaints no follow up. You can not expect a single help from her. Really very poor service.

Person No2. Mr. Gautam he was out of order since long time, if you call in his no, definitely he will not pick the phone, it may either busy in chatting or might be taking rest before 1st half even on Saturday as a working day. ONIDA really having a gem employee like this who might be enjoying weekend from morning itself. Even after more than 50 rings he did not picked the phone. ONIDA must send these kind of person for long leave other may have bad name for CC in India soon.

Person No. 3. Mr. Sanjay Marsetwar, I think being head of Nagpur region he is only guy who is working, ya sure why not when all are sleeping he is only who is alive and picked the phone. Mr. Sanjay is really very busy in his work and he is not able to listen to customers, he don’t even feel shame in telling his customer that I am busy with some other work. If the person is busy in meeting or even some job either he may switch off his mobile or put a word that will call you back or any reason. Mr. Sanjay seems to be a man of paper only. As he told me that my AC had completed its 1st birthday before some days back and does not comes under warranty. I think he is only person for warranty and but NO GARUNTEE that he can do anything rather then telling that he is Busy n Busy. ONIDA Company must give him a Medal for giving such a nice treatment to customers.

Person no 4 Mr Shekhar Dev is the only person which who is really ready to listen to customer, since he has been posted at Akola (Part of Vidharbha) he asked for complaint no and finally given me a call to state that he can do anything.

Dear reader just imagine we purchase the goods from the market and we used it, if any item is having some manufacturing defect then company must look into this matter, it must be get solved, company like ONIDA is there for sale, Support is ZERO.

If some from ONIDA is reading this complaint please look into this matter immediately my complaint no is 10041006380159 dated 03-04.

I am really fedup with the service of ONIDA AC, so reader and consumer who is about to buy new AC in the scorching heat in this summer, please buy some other brand but do not go with ONIDA at any cost otherwise you will a sufferer like me.

For refilling of Gas in AC ONIDA is about to charge me Rs.1380/- and cost of AC is Just Rs19500/- and more than 4 time if you have to do same job then for an year it will cost you Rs.5520/- means in four year you will spend the same amount nr about Rs.20, 000/- towards maintenance really great logic the company kept for customers.

So Once again sincere appeal to all New person who wants to purchase the AC please stay away from ONIDA and go ahead with Hitachi, Samsung, or may be with LG.

I am going to lodge a complaint to consumer court against ONIDA soon, still we are in India, we are not in Pakistan. What I feel there is no difference between the weapons which are coming to India from Pakistan and ONIDA AC selling in India market, 1st is illegal and 2nd is just like 1st but in legal way. Hope you got it what I mean to say.
