I purchased onida lcd xaria in jan.twice during warranty period it just went dead .we were reasurred the problem wont recur.however on 30/11/09 again the same problem was encountered and since it was out of warranty i had to pay 8000 rs for part replacement.to my horror today ie 25/1/10 the tv again blanked out.it is quite obvious the defect is recurrent since purchase, but should the consumer pay for no fault of his? i would strongly advise against purchasing onida lcd .obviously there is no quality check or a responsible authority to correct the situation.
