I ordered a compuetr from Dell. They sent me two instead of one. I called them and returned the extra machine. Fairly soon customer service reps (from India) started calling me and asking for payment for the second computer. I went thru this scenario several times with several different Indian CSR. Often we had a failure to communicate (even though India is known for their large English speaking population). At times they were quite rude. They called at all hours and at all days - including Sunday mornings. They have been charging late fees for the computer I sent back. This is still up in the air. I believe that Dell's committment to off-shore CSR is most of the problem? I'm sick of Dell and will always tell anyone I know of my experience and sway them away from Dell. I am finding similar problems with many fo the companies I deal with that have gone to India with their CSR.
