One more frustrated customer of Airtel digital

I am Airtel digital TV customer. My customer ID is: 3003335649 (set top box id 32729513443 & view card number 00027186972). I recharged my account on Thursday (3rd June) but I am yet receive my services back. I am still receiving error code 6. I have checked the account balance through the intranet and toll free number and you have precisely took money out of my account on the day I recharged and you have been charging our account daily. So basically, you have been taking our money, and NOT providing any services. Is this how airtel TV works? If so, I would like my money back and cancel this account.

I have been ridiculed by your customer care so many times, and I am absolutely fed up with it. I called your customer care 36 times and raised 3 to 4 complaints and 3 service requests regarding this. However, I STILL, to this date have not received a call or solution from your customer care regarding the issue. Is this what you call customer care??? According to your customer care personal I last spoken to, a service engineer was supposed to come to our house by 10AM last Saturday morning (05/06/10). I had waited patiently and I hadn’t heard anything by 12PM and when I called again, they said that this ‘service engineer’ will be there by 2PM then they said by 4PM. Not only, did this ‘service engineer’ of yours not turn up, when I called repeatedly they kept promising me that he will turn up, and the SAME THING happened on Sunday. What did I get out of this? No one came to solve the issue, your customer care personnel kept promising me that the service engineer will come, and my weekend got WASTED waiting for a service engineer. This is ridiculous and NOT acceptable.

The matter of fact is that I have been paying for a service so that I can watch TV. Not to wait around wasting MY TIME for a service engineer to turn up, or wait around for this so called airtel ‘customer care’ to fix the problem. I have been paying for a service, so I want that service, because you haven’t provided us with the service, we missed out on the French open and a whole lot of cricket matches and a whole lot of other TV programs.

I am a valuable customer of yours as I and my house mates are using Airtel phones and broadband services. And YET, we have to call 36 times to fix a problem, which is STILL PENDING??? I am very very angry about this. This is NOT called customer care. You might want to ask Airtel phones and broadband services on how to improve your digital TV services because we are getting much better services from them.

I want a solution for this matter as soon as possible. If you are unable to come up with a solution by today itself your going to give us our money back, and take that damn set top box away. And we will go to ANOTHER service company that will provide much better service, as we don’t want to miss the World CUP. Bear in mind, that your only ruining your own reputation by not providing the right services.
