Fake Brown sugar by Blue Bird Foods

I purchased a 500 gm pack of Blue Bird Foods Demerara Sugar, but it turned out to be white sugar coated with either caramel or brown color. Upon dissolving the sugar in a liquid such as water, the sugar turns white instantly. Demerara sugar, a type of brown sugar, is naturally brown from inside and will never turn white. To add to the remorse, Blue Bird Foods sells this supposed brown sugar for INR 55 per 500 gm, when plain white sugar costs around INR 33 per kg. Legal action should be taken to save the consumer from such cheating.
