Selling old stock

I am a student studying in manipal university. we have a shop named "manipal stores" here.. it is one of the biggest super markets where majority of the manipal students come n buy stuff... but i have noticed that they keep a lot of old stock and most of the imported chocolates that they sell is old n still they go on to sell it... i fell some action should be taken against it since manipal is a student town and by selling these old goods to us they are harming the health of the student population here..
