The packets of milk produced by Verka have their MRP printed via a stamp ink instead of it being printed during the manufacture and printing of the packet itself.
The MRP printed on the packet is Rs. 11.00 only, but they have put a stamped price of Rs. 12.50 (stamped price on 05/11) on the side of the packet. This has been an ongoing practice for a long time now and needs to be reviewed for legality. Are manufacturers allowed to stamp prices instead of having them printed on the packets?
