Non-delivery of goods

I purchased furniture from the store on July 25. I was told that since some items were not in stock in the warehouse they would reach me within 10 days. I received several pieces of furniture on August 1 and 3 and they were assembled and fitted at my home on August 1 and 4 respectively. At this time a cabinet which had been delivered could not be fitted because of non-availability of hardware and I was told that the hardware would be procured and fitting would be done within a few days. The remaining pieces took a month to be delivered and fitted. As of today September 16 one of the pieces (a dressing table) has still not been delivered and the cabinet has not been assembled. The box containing the parts of the cabinet was opened and left at my place by the fitter such that they were blocking the passage and the pieces of wood are dangerously exposed. We had to move the heavy box ourselves to prevent injury!

I am very disappointed with the service at the store and am regretting shopping there. Please avoid all Home Bazaar outlets and their sister store Home Town. The service in @Home, Housefull, The Living Room and Homecentre is so much better.
