Adeetya's Modular Kitchen
Good Product - Very Bad Delivery

After a lot of research about modular kitchen systems - we settled down with Adeetya's Kitchen System. The reasons to go with Adeetya were:

a. A good balance between quality and price

b. A nearby franchise

c. The product fitted in partially constructed kitchen

We went with Vrishank Enterprises in Chandanagar/Madinaguda in Hyderabad who was the nearest franchise. The hand drawn drawings were send to us by email in a few days time and after changes by us, they were revised. Finally, we gave them order of two kitchens - one for us and one for my father. We were promised delivery of both kitchens by 15th of Mar.

As the days came near the delivery date, I got panicked as the work had not even started. I was assured that the work will be finished on time. However, on 15th, the work was partially done - only 80% frame was done, most drawers were put in, however the shutters and the drawer fronts were left. The new date of 17th Mar was given.

On 17th March, the situation did not change. Another new date of 30th of March was given.By 30th some shutters and some drawer fronts were put in - the work was still far from complete.

As we had already moved in both houses, incomplete kitchens were giving us nightmares. We were neither able to cook anything or able to predict when could we cook. Every call to the franchise - Vrishank Enterprise was another excuse - mostly blaming the parent company Adeetya's for faulty delivery or late delivery.

Mid of April, when I called the franchise, they started blaming me of not paying up the full amount - the truth was that 90% payment was done - as per the written agreement. The franchise started shouting back at me that they are doing all the work and I am shouting at them.

I had no option but to call the company in Pune. I called up the company in Pune - fortunately or unfortunately I called up the CEO Mr. Anand Ambekar.

Anand was even better than the franchise: He told me that Adeetya's is a small manufacturer and does not have any responsibility of franchise. All my dealing with the franchise are between the customer and the franchise - he will not do anything. He also told me that the franchise guy is a good guy and I am accusing them wrongly.

Even till date, the work is still incomplete - the franchise does not want to complete it, the company does not seem responsible.

So where does it leave us - Nowhere! A good product - bad service: a bad franchise - a really bad company management who dont care about customers.

Do not buy modular kitchen systems from Adeetya Kitchen Systems - a Pune based company with franchisees all over India.
