DHS INDIA / APPOLO HOSPITAL
Cashless - DHS-INDIA is not completely Cashless

Today my father was discharged from BGS APPOLO Hospital Mysore after having a KIDNEY Operation (RIGHT KIDNEY was REMOVED). the Insurance Coordinator in the hospital sent the CLAIM amount of (64, 178 INR) after removing NON MEDICAL charges from the total bill of (69059). However the approved amount was only (62, 709). when checked with DHS HO CASHLESS Department, i was told that some assistant Doctor Charges and Nursing Charges were also included worth 4000 change. when checked with Hospital they claim those charges were already excluded from the total bill of (69, 059). but it was still not clear why was the amount deducted for claim of (64, 178). DHS Cashless department wants us to check with the Hospital and the Hospital team wants us to check with the Insurance (DHS). & my parents were asked to pay the amount of approx (8000 INR) This experience was totally unsatisfactory and NON reliable as a customer & Patient. where in we were told that NON MEDICAL charges have to be bare by us that is up to 4000. CLAIM NUMBER (DHS12Z030176). Please this have to be clarified by either APPOLO or DHS
