Happy Childrens Hospital
Non Availability of Proper Facility

Dear Sir,

I wanted to bring to your attention the Hospital by name Happy Childrens Hospital, Chandanagar, Hyderabad. They they call it NICU (Neonatel Intensive Care Unit). I would like to bring to your notice the facilites there.

My son has chest congestion and was brought to the hospital. He has put into NICU. The fate of the ICU is such that there are beds lined us in a row without any partition and at night there are rats roaming around. I pointed out the excreta of rats lying around, which was reluctantly removed by the ayaa as if she was doing a favour to me. Moreover the ICU has sister's changing room and all the washing brooms kept in the area. The cleaniness of the NICU is horrible. There is no permanent sister in NICU as I was told she was a shared resource with other wards.

Morever this was more shocking in order to save cost they also use oxygen pipes and masks from previous patients. When questioned the nurses said it will cost you less. Coming to mosquitoes the silly answer they say is someone might have opened the window... which when I was there never happened. This is horrible plight of the hospital and they charge your exhorbitently.

In fact, they are understaffed and the treatment there is horrible. If you tell the nurses anything they go and compliant Dr. Sudharshan Reddy the MD of the hospital that the patient is complaining. Dr. Sudarshan in turn comes around and confronts you saying that you should not scold them else they will go away. When I complained Dr Sudarashan he asked the Nurse "Are there are any rats... oh I didn't know". Then he said this is what I can give you, we are different from the city and started to tell me his problems. I don't understand when patients come to hospital to tell their problems but here the doctor is telling me his problems. Isn't that strange?

I was fed up and for 1.5 days my charge in the hospital was rupees 10, 000/-.(Ten Thousand only) and I couldn't bear this as they had no clue of whether he was improving. Hence I took my son immediately to Rainbow Hospital.By God's grace he is doing fine now and my appeal to everyone is no matter how critical it is don't every go to this hospital.

Rgds
