Indian Health Organisation(IHO) - Health Plan Card
Indian Health Organisation (IHO) – High-level Cheaters

I received a call from a telecaller from Indian Health Organization (IHO) on 17th September, about their schemes on Health Plan Green Cards. She said that we have to pay Rs.4400 for the 1st year, and I’ll receive 4 green cards for my family, along with many free vouchers. With these cards, I’ll be able to avail any doctor’s service or any Hospital/Nursing service with minimal costs only, with high range of discounts, as IHO is tied with all of them, and maximum of the Hospitals/Nursing Homes/Doctors are ISO certified. I also thought, that this ISO is really a certified organization, as I’ve heard of the name, seen many ads also about it, so probably it won’t be a fraud case.

She said, I’ll have to tell her my card number, Card expiry date and CVV number in order to book for the scheme over the phone. She said, after the booking, I’ll get an E-card on my phone, which I’ll be able to use, before the actual cards reach me by courier. She also said, I’ll be able to use this e-card for 14 days, and in the mean time, if I feel like cancelling it, I’ll have to raise the request within 14 days, and I’ll not be charged any money for that. I should also have option to pay the bank after 40-50 days after the booking, as they have tie-ups with the banks accordingly. Although I came to know from the bank, they have already claimed the amount from the bank just within a few days after the booking was made.

I was not that ready to give her the CVV number of my card, as that’s a personal number, and shouldn’t be shared with anyone. But she said, there’s a new rule by RBI (from February), that even if anyone has your CVV, they won’t be able to claim it, without my consent.

Somehow, she convinced me, and took my card details. But as soon as the call ended, I got an sms in my phone from my Bank (Standard Chertered), that Rs.4400 has already been debited from my account. But according to what she said, this shouldn’t be the case.

Although she said, I’ll get the e-card within 1-2 hours, I received no E-card till 22nd September. The next day only (23rd September), I called up the helpdesk number of IHO (18001034466) and raised the request to cancel my card. According to the previous information given to me (on 17th September) by that telecaller, I should get the full refund if I cancel the card within 14 days of the booking. So, it was only the 6th day (23rd September) of my booking, when I called them up for cancellation. But to my astonishment, the guy on the telephone said, he’s not sure whether I’ll get the refund. He just raised the cancellation request, and said I’ll get a call within 2-3 days from Cancellation department. Days went on, no phone calls came from IHO. I again called them on 28th September, and asked about it. He said, I’ll get a call from the cancellation department within another 14 days of my cancellation request, and he was also not sure of the refund. He said, he is not responsible of what the Sales person has said, and he was also doubtful, whether the Cancelllation Dept will give me any refund.

This is purely a fraud company. Firstly they said I’ll have to do the cancellation within 14 days, and when I raised the cancellation request on the 6th day, I came to know It’ll take another 14 days to get the call from Cancellation dept, which is actually (6 14=20) 20th day from the booking date), and automatically they’ll say, 14 days are gone, and I won’t get the refund.

Their Sales people will tell you lots of false words, and give false commitments, just to get your consent.

Afterwards, I searched the internet, and found that many other people also have become victims of this fraud company.

I’m really amazed, how a famous company like IHO can do these type of frauds, by giving false commitments, and cheating people.

I really want to take strict action against this company, and I’m quite sure I won’t get back my money as refund, just like the other victims (according to the reviews in the above websites.)
