Inhuman Treament in Hospitals

Dear Concerned,

I am Nita Chauhan, resident of Uppal Hyderabad (A.P.). I would like to bring to your kind notice about the irresponsible and inhuman treatment done at Kamineni Hospital, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad. My father got admitted there for fracture in hip bone last year. They took X- ray report and said he need to be opearted but since he is weak it wouldnt be done immediately. Then suddenly after 2 days they said he got pneumonia and was transferred to ICU. In 2 days they called us at night saying that his condition is unstable and when we went to see him he was on ventilator without informing to us where he expired on 4th day. These irresponsible doctors never shown interest to atleast communicate family members exact condition of patients. Also the hospital management never allowed family members to see the patient.

They have asked for blood 2 times a day and medicines which was never given to him day before he died. They knew that he was not going to survive but still played drama to make money. These are not hospitals but money curning Business centeres, hotels offer much better service than them on payment. Here we pay for being insulted and harassed. Doctors and nurses of these butcher centers treat patients like animals dont even feed them properly.

It seems that these people don't have any emotions but are like robots trained for humiliating patients and their family members. My father was working for central govt. organisation so they never cared whether he was cured as they knew all the huge fake treatment bills will get reimbursed directly from his office. But think about normal people who visit this hospital in emergency. If they wont intimate about charges in prior and at last if they ask this much big amounts how can they pay.

On top of it they played drama in advance in name of Patient family members counselling calling their own media people and behaved innocent in front of them, so that we never can go against them in future. There has been no. of cases we hear about such hospitals but still we are helpless as they are the nearest big hospitals in our vicinity.

I would like the Government to regulate strict laws and take legal action against these booming Multi Speciality hospitals who just make money in name of treatment and defaming medical profession.
