Brutal attitude & wrong diagnosis & treatment putting patient in serious condition

Respected Sir,

SUB: ULTIMATE NEGLIGENCE & WRONG DIAGNOSIS BY THE DOCTORS OF AMRI-HOSPITAL-DHAKURIA

ACCOMPANIED BY WORST SERVICE BY HOSPITAL TO EARN MORE MONEY PUTTING A 12 YEARS GIRL IN

ABSOLUTE CRITICAL STAGE - KNOWING ALL THINGS WHAT WORST CAN HAPPEN TO PATIENT.

I would like to let you know that my daughter Ms. Poulami Chatterjee of 12 years was admitted on

07.07.2010 at AMRI Hospital- Dhakuria with vomitting and pain in abdomen.

I contacted over phone regarding the availability of the bed but I was replied that no bed available

thereafter I contacted Dr. Raja Roy (as he treated my father once) soon after his request they assured that they

will arrange one bed

1. We reached over there in EMERGENCY around 17:15hrs. to get admitted but immediately no one attended

however one of them checked after 15- 20 mins.and requested me to bring injection which are required to her

I immediately brought those injections and they pushed and started IV fluid. Dr. RAJA ROY visited at that time

2. After shifting the Dr.who was on duty in PAED.Ward checked and called specialist Padaetrician and at the

same time they had taken blood for various test required to identify the source the report was intimated

WITH MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE WAS WAITING OUTSIDE THE ROOM FOR USG. SHE VOMMITTED IN FRONT

OF THE USG ROOM BUT NO ONE WAS THERE TO TAKE CARE OF HER. SHE HAD TO WAIT AROUND ONE &

HALF HOURS ALONE BEFORE WE REACHED THERE.TILL THEN NO ONE WAS THERE.

My wife took her inside the USG Room here was also the person who drives the prop either semi skilled or

unskilled. My daughter was facing severe pain in abdomen but the person rubbed the prob with ultimate

power. However the report came at 13:00 hrs vide their great impression SUGGESTED CLINICAL CORELATION

AND FURTHER EVALUATION.

4. After seeing the alarming report of infection and our vigorous chasing to apply antibiotics to control the

infection ignoring all the things Doctors advised for CT SCAN of WHOLE ABDOMEN where as my daughter was

facing death agony BUT THEY ONLY WERE PUSHING PAIN KILLING INJECTION TRAMADOL WITHOUT

MAINTAINING THE DOSE PRESCRIBED FOR A GIRL OF 12 YEARS. NOT ONLY THAT THEY DID NOT EVEN GIVE

A SINGLE INJECTION OR SALAINE BOTTLE UNTIL WE BUY AND GIVE THEM. WHAT INHUMAN BEHAVIOUR.

5. CT SCAN - THE SAME STORY - THEY DID NOT HAVE AMBULENCE TO SEND THE PATIENT IN THE NEW BLDG.

SO MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR WE HAD TO WAIT TO REACH FOR CT SCAN. HOWEVER AFTER 2 OR 3 PATIENT

MY DAUGHTER TURN CAME AND THEY CARRIED OUT THE CT SCAN. AS A FATHER I WANTED TO KNOW VERY

HUMBLY TO THE PERSON WHO WAS CARRYING OUT CT SCAN WHAT ACTUALLY HAD HAPPENED -HE RUDELY

WITH A HARSH VOICE TOLD ME THERE IS HUGE PROBLEM IN UTERUS. HOW HE COULD COMMENT SUCH

IRRELEVENTLY WHICH PUT US IN MORE CRUCIAL STAGE AFTER HEARING THE COMMENT.

AS WE WERE NOT GETTING THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS OF ACUTE PAIN IN ABDOMEN FROM THE DOCTORS.

5. In the CT SCAN REPORT they wrongly DIAGNOSED . Doctors DID NOT GIVE US CLEAR VISION THOUGH IT

WAS KNOWN TO THEM WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED? IT WAS OUR HELPLESS CONDITION -

THE DOCTORS WERE PLANNED TO TRAP KEEPING PATIENT IN CRITICAL SITUATION. THEY WERE TELLING

OPERATION NEEDED BUT WHAT OPERATION THEY DID NOT DISCLOSED TO US EVEN THEY FIXED THE DATE

& TIME OF OPERATION WITHOUT OUR CONSENT WHICH WE CAME TO KNOW WHEN ONE LADY ANESTHETIST

CAME TO DRAW BLOOD FOR OPERATION ON 09.07.2010 in evening. We requested her not to take the blood

for operation without consent as we already had taken the decision to shift the patient to other hospital

she harshly told not to poke over their activities. WITHOUT OUR CONSENT SHE DREW BLOOD IN A CENTURIES

OLD MANNER . WHICH WE DON'T EVEN SEE IN LOCAL PATHOLOGICAL LABORATORY.

THEY DREW BLOOD AND LEFT THE NEEDLE TO DROP BLOOD AND WERE COLLECTING IN A CONTAINER KEPT

ON THE FLOOR. AT THAT TIME ANESTHETIST WAS CHATTING WITH THE OTHERS. - IS IT PROPER SERVICE?

SEEING ALL THESE UNBELIEVABLE / UNFORESEEN / UNEXPECTED / INHUMAN ATTITUDE IN TREATMENT AS

WELL AS IN HOSPITALITY INSPITE OF TAKING ABSOLUTE HIGH CHARGE AND COMMITTED TO PROVIDE THE

SERVICE TO THE PATIENT, THEY DIDN'T DO. I TOOK DECISION TO SHIFT THE PATIENT TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL

AFTER HEARING OUR PLAN ON 09.07.2010 EVENING THEY EVEN DID NOT EVEN CHECK THE IV FLUID, MY WIFE

WAS THERE AND REQUESTED TO STOP BUBBLE GOING THRU.CHANNEL. THEY SIMPLY IGNORED .

THE Jr. Dr. JOSHI WHO WAS IN NIGHT DUTY DIDN'T EVEN DO THE MINIMUM PROPER TREATMENT REQUIRED

TO THE PATIENT WHO WAS SUFFERING FROM DEATH AGONY.

THEY WERE JUST RELAXING AND WATCHING AND WARNING US ABOUT THE SHIFTMENT OF PATIENT

ULTIMATELY WHEN I SIGNED THE BOND FOR SHIFTMENT HE FORCEFULLY COMPELLED ME TO WRITE THAT

OWING TO FINANCIAL CRISIS I HAD TO SHIFT. AS I DID NOT AGREE WITH HIM ONE OF THE SISTER CAME

TO CARRY HIS ORDER AND TICKED THAT POINT WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

POINTS OF NEGLEGENCE IN TREATMENT AND HOSPITALITY

1 Why in emergency they didn't inject immediately after checking. My daughter had to wait until I

bought and brought injection and handed over to them.

2 Why a patient of 12 YEARS GIRL who had vommitted huge and with pain in abdomen should have to

wait in emergency for two and half hours where as the other patients who were in emergency were

shifted within half an hour.

3 Why inspite of getting the Blood Result on the same night (TLC 20600) they did not apply antibiotics

inspite of our vigorous chasing.

4 The next day when the Blood Report had shown TLC 27000 they didn't even take proper action

5 The Doctors did not have coordination with each other -The Paediatrician Dr. Bikash Bhattacharya

had written that LIGHT DIET TO PATIENT- when the food came and one spoon my daughter tried to

put in mouth - The Gastro Dr. Abhijit Sarkar entered and told NPM. What a situation we faced.

6 Why they were injecting pain killer MAGADOL without maintaining the minimum gap in between

two injection to 12 YEARS GIRL.

7 Why there was none while my daughter was sent for USG. We saw that she was sitting in the chair

in front of USG room without any attendant. She vommitted in front of the door no one was there.

8 The person who drove PROP in USG either unskilled or semi skilled as she was rubbing prop like

spading in the field. Doesn't have idea how to do to such a PATIENT suffering acute pain in abdomen.

9 At the time of CT Scan again she had to wait for ambulence 46 mins.from old bldg. to new bldg.

after completion of CT SCAN I wanted to know from the person who was in scanning about the source

of pain. AS WE WERE IN COMPLETE DARK ABOUT THE SOURCE OF PAIN. That very person rudely

behaved and harshly said HUGE PROBLEM IN UTERUS.

10 THE CT SCAN REPORT WAS COMPLETELY WRONG .

11 THOUGH THE DOCTORS UNDERSTOOD THE SOURCE OF PAIN BUT ALL OF THEM DID NOT DISCLOSE

TO US AND STARTED TO TRAP ME KEEPING THE PATIENT IN ABSOLUTE CRITICAL SITUATION

THEY PRE PLANNED TO OPERATE AND TO MAKE A HUGE BILL - OVER TELEPHONE ON 09.10.2010

AT NIGHT Dr. RAJA ROY TOLD - GO AND ACCUMULATE MONEY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN FROM YOUR

RELATIVES WELL WISHERS - BUT DID NOT TELL WHAT OPERATION IS REQUIRED - NOT ONLY THAT

THEY FIXED OT ON 10.07.2010 IN MORNING WITHOUT OUR CONSENT -WITHOUT DISCUSSING US.

12 ALL THE DOCTRS Dr. RAJA ROY, Dr. ABHIJIT SARKAR, Dr. BIKASH BHATTACHARYA MISLEADED,

ILLTREATED, MISBEHAVED & MISGUIDED . INSPITE OF PROPER TREATMENT THEY WERE VERY

MUCH BUSY TO EARN MORE MORE MONEY - PUTTING A 12 YEARS GIRL IN CRITICAL SITUATION.

13 After hearing decision from the sisters Dr. BIKASH BHATTACHARYA TOLD MY WIFE ON 09.07.2010

NIGHT THAT "IF WE SHIFT THE PATIENT TO PEERLESS HOSPITAL AND ADMIT UNDER HIM THEN

HE WILL CURE THE PATIENT WITHOUT OPERATION "- being a helpless father I telephoned on the

same night and he replied the same. But when I told him that we should not go to Peerless then he

wanted to know where we were shifting. I DID NOT TELL HIM THE NAME OF THE HOSPITAL

SO NEXT DAY IN MORNING BEFORE SEVEN HE CAME TO KNOW EARLY IN THE MORNING & TO VISIT

THE PATIENT THOUGH HIS SCHEDULE TIME IN EVENING TO EARN THE FEES OF THAT VERY DAY.

WHAT A GREEDY DOCTOR? NOT ONLY THAT AS SOON AS HE SAW THE PERSONS WHO CAME TO

TAKE THE PATIENT FROM MEDICA SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL. HE CAME TO KNOW THE NAME

AFTER KNOWING THE NAME OF THE HOSPITAL HE IMMEDIATELY TELEPHONED TO EMERGENCY

OF MEDICA SUPERSPECIALIY HOSPITAL TO ADMIT THE PATIENT UNDER HIS NAME.WHICH WE CAME

TO KNOW AT MEDICA EMERGENCY &THOUGH WE NEVER REQUESTED HIM TO TELEPHONE

IS HE A DOCTOR OR A GOOD BROKER

WE WOULD REQUEST TO CANCEL THEIR REGISTRATION BECAUSE

Dr. RAJA ROY, Dr. BIKASH BHATTACHARYA, Dr. ABHIJIT SARKAR WERE THE CONSPIRATORS TO EARN

MORE MONEY PUTTING THE PATIENT IN ABSOLUTE CRITICAL SITUATION.

AMRI HOSPITAL ADDED FUEL TO THE FIRE BY GIVING WRONG PATHOLOGICAL AND SCAN REPORTS

POINTS TO BE NOTED

1 In general for Appendix operation amount required Rs. 15000 to 20000 but I had to spent Rs.2 lacs

owing to wrong diagnosis and treatment and intentional neglegence to earn more money.

2 Due to ULTIMATE neglegence of the said Doctors inspite of a micro surgery LAPAROTOMY was

carried out for which education for one year loss amounting Rs. 1.03lacs (25000 72000 6000)

3 She will have to suffer post operation problem as long life harrassment for those Greedy Doctors.

4 She had suffered acute agony for 48 hrs. anything could happen at that time as they not at all

monitored. Doctors only were planning how to earn more keeping that girl in acute stage.

5 Owing to Greedy Doctors' ultimate neglegence Our Family was absolutely faced disaster.

6 The above neglegence has stopped my income and put me in debt. HUGE ECONOMICAL LOSS

Being a very ordinary people it is very much troublesome to carry out the expenses for POST

OPERATION TREATMENT through out her long life.

To the best of my knowledge and belief I've given you the statement which is true and had to face

during the stay in AMRI Hospital - DHAKURIA.

I have given you all the details whatever happened and gathered experience in the AMRI Hospital

during the treatment of my daughter. I would expect that you will realise our problem and will do the

needful so that WE CAN GET THE REIMBURSEMENT OF TOTAL MONEY ALONG WITH PENALTY AMT.
