CHARGED FOR ARTICLE AND NOT RECIEVED OT

I need to share this with every body because i don't want other people to loose their valuable time, relying upon some fraudulent merchant as i did.

my complaint is about "bagittoday.com" a venture of the India today group. I had ordered a BLACKBERRY 8830 WE from their website on 2 apr the estimated delivery time given by them was 14-21 days.

I made the payment through Debit card, i received a text message and an email stating that they have received my payment and my order will be processed shortly and i will receive another email when order is approved.

I waited for almost 20 days when i called their customer support on 20th April, the reason that they gave me for the delay as "Technical Problems in their Computer", after raising a complaint against it I finaly got an email regarding my order on 25 April, that my order is under process (order no. 41203). I again called their support, and this time they asked me for another 7 days for the delivery.(I again started waiting patiently)

after the above communication again their was no activity from their side for 7 days so i called them back on 2nd May, When i started talking to the customer care executive "she" behaved badly and said that i have payed less amount that was required for the purchase and disconnected my call, i called them again... but again the call was disconnected from their side. the main reason why my product was not dispatched was that i had according to them payed Rs. 10 less than what was required.

regarding payment I have few questions that I would like to be answered by them

1. How can one customer pay less amount on an automated system, unless and until allowed by the merchant.

2. If their was problem with my payment why didn't they point it out on the same day when the order was placed, i.e. on 2nd or 3rd of April. what was the point of keeping me waiting for a whole month, after taking my money.

and on payment issue i would like to add that whatever less i payed was a discount given by them, that were referral based credit points.

on 2nd may finally I called them and asked them to cancel my order and again i was given another period of waiting, they told me that it would take another 21 days for the cancellation procedure to complete and my money to be credited back into my account.

on 5 may, i received a call from their side asking me the problems i was facing against my order, again the same story, the customer care executive disconnected the call in the middle of the conservation, i know that this was only a formality from their side that they wanted to shoe that they had called the customer and their part of the job was done.

I would like to conclude my rather long complaint with the order details:
