I am having a broadband account with SPEARHEAD (Customer ID 3101) under unlimited plan of 1 Mbps for which I have paid in advance two months rent up to 22 June.

However, their collection agent called on me yesterday and insisted on payment of a further sum of RS 1983/- towards two months rent ignoring our earlier advance payment which is valid till 22 Jun. He wrongly explained to me that the previous advance was already adjusted.

Accordingly, I issued a cheque No 813462 dated 28/5 on HSBC Bank for Rs 1983/- for which collection agent has given a receipt on the bill.

From yesterday night, I am not able to log into the net, and there is no connection available.

This is totally unjustified and an unfair practice, and needs immediate attention.

SPEARHEAD has not yet returned my cheque for Rs 1983 as there is nothing due from me till 22 June as per my records.
