It has been already seven to eight months, since I have been receiving faulty bills.
I had applied for an internet connection in July '09 on my BSNL landlane (0642949). I waited till Aug '09, and then filed an application for cancellation of my request.
Never was any id and password provided to me, neither did I receive any modem, nor did any BSNL personnel come down to my place regarding the same. But to my surprise since October '09, I have been receiving telephone bill along with the Modem charges.
When I rang the SDO (Telephone) @ BSNL, Kahalgaon, Mr. SDO said that I need to pay the bill in full till date and then only he would consider the matter. I even logged a complaint in BSNL portal, and also emailed the BSNL officials at Bhagalpur and Patna. But have received no replies or action till date.
