To start with, I took this connection about an year ago or more than that. They didn't have any setup charges if I pay them a lump-sum for 6 months together, however I was never aware that is a catch all about and am landing to a biggest trouble in my life. I paid them the amount for 6 months, it took them 3-4 days to get it installed, I was happy spped was not that impressive but I had 24 hours connectivity to internet. Soon after sometime problems started when after every few days, there was one or the other problem.
I called up their customer-care services, number bot in use. Finally got the number after dialing "Dial-in services", then got connected to someone sitting in pune, who asked me all sorts of weird questions and at the end of it told me I am forwarding it to the relevant department, who will contact you shortly and will resolve your issue, gave me a reference number. I waited for few days nothing worked no one visited. Later on I called up there center again, now this time it was a girl I was speaking with, again asked me all sorts of weird question and said I am re-forwarding the request as the reference number you are giving me on my system it says the issue has been resolved already by the department, they visited your place as well and found everything ok. Which was a total lie as noone even visited nor the problem was sorted.
Now it was already 7th day... I was really getting frustrated I called up again now this time I was speaking to person in hyderabad, I suppose then I asked him that I would like to speak to supervisor, he said no supervisors are available, when I asked him when will they be available. He said I am not too sure, I asked him if they can call me back, he first said no, then after some time trying to finish my call, he said "I am sending the mail to my supervisor, who will call you in when they are free." I waited for 2 -3 days, no one turned up no calls been made, surprisingly problem automatically was sorted out... but it was not sweet for long, thereafter what happened at night problem arose again, now i was furious called and this time I was speaking to some1 in Delhi/pune I don't remember, but she was a manger as per what she told me, she said I've noted these details and she'll personally get this sorted out for me as there have been some line breakage in my area, I asked her a simple question why can't they inform their customers about it and moreover they must provide some alternative to their customer she apologized and told me you validity would be extended and would be sorted out very soon however refused to provide and specific time.
Problem was sorted out after 3 days finally after another couple of calls.
Then after few weeks again a problem, I have just lost it... now it was getting on my nerves... I no more required any solution-I called them and told them "Since the day I've taken this connection, I've always had one or the other problem, nothing been sorted out for me as yet, so I need my money back." They said as its a prepaid a/c we can't refund, no I've hardly used their connection... no services been provided and as per the inconvenience I've faced with TATA I should have got my money back. This is not all, after so many complaints finally I can use my connection and this was the time i used my connection for more than 20 days... the maximum time I would have used the connection continuously since the time I've bought this connection.
However now it came the day to renew it, so I just thought giving it another chance toTATa, and renew it finally rather than going for a hassle to take any other co.'s connection.
It worked all fine for few days... however again the link/no browsing problem started... they again gave reference numbers and said will extend validity everytime happed during weekends, I wonder why? And I m not too sure if they even added the value to my pack or just said like that. Now, about few days ago my another renewal was due on 17092007 which has not come, however they says you have only Rs. 11 in your account, you cannot use it. I told the customer care representative you should have at least called me to inform about the renewal, no calls made, nor any communication made and you have suspended my connection, they had no answer to it.
Now I said I need to access it they said you need to renew it, I aid okay how do I do it instantly, the agent "Nitin" was his name&so called floor supervisor said you can renew the a/c oer the internet paying online, I paid thru my ICICI bank Netbanking as per ICICI they have made a payment straight-a-way to vsnl TAT indicom Broadband However as per VSNL they have yet not received the payment. They can't send me a written confirmation saying that they have not received the payment so that I would take it further with ICICI bank why payment is deducted from my account, I know they have that money and someone is not doing there duty. I told them to start my services again or return my money, they say they have not received the payment.
