Sir, I (Dr. B.S.N. Murthy; No: 17-13/3/A; Dharmapuri Colony; Uppal; GHMC; Hyderabad) took BSNL phone in 1992 (Telephone No: 040-27202692) and obtained the broadband connection in the 2006. I paid deposits of Rs. 800/- for BSNL phone, Rs. 500/- for Broadband connection & Rs. 350/- for BSNL Home Flexi 350 plan. I have been in the Home 500 Combo Plan and asked for changing it to Plan 625 on 2nd January (dkt No: 12828487408) and changed back to Home 500 Combo Plan on 1st February (dkt No: 12952680095). I have checked with BSNL inquiry and confirmed that my requests for changing my Broadband Plans were implemented expressly within 24 hrs and then only went for using un-limited or downsizing my usage.
My Broadband usage for years was less than free 1.5GB usage limit of Home 500 Combo plan. Due to the above, I received broadband usage bill of Rs. 1594.71 (in addition to Fixed Monthly Charge of Rs. 616.94). FMC is calculated correctly (2days @ 500/month 29days @ 625/ month), implying that plan change was affected on 2nd Jan. Upon inquiry with BSNL accounts, they say that plan change was from 4th Jan, thus usage billed was due to downloading between 2nd to 4th Jan. As they billed plan charges correctly, and I also confirmed before un-limited broadband usage, that they changed my plan. Thus BSNL is trying to cheat me by making a fraud bill. In addition, they have also billed Rs. 625/- towards deposit. I already have three types of deposits and I was on this 625 un-limited plan only for month and am back to my earlier plan. I want these billing problems to be sorted out and eagerly looking for help in the matter.
