Fake calls for 10 lakhs lottery from airtel
Around half an hour back today (April 7), I got missed call from the number 923477886709
When I called back at this number, I came to Know that It was from Mumbai Airtel Headoffice and then
He informed about the lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.
I aske the name - it wa some Mr. Vijay Kumar (probably fake)
The person asked me to give my account number so as to transfer money of Rs.10 lakhs. & Told Me To Switch Off my Cell Phone till tomarrow 9 am.
He also said that around 130 Airtel number won this lottery.
This call deducted huge amount from my balance in mobile Near about 150 Rs. When I called to
Airtel Customer Care, they said there is no such office in Mumbai.
I was shocked that how someone got my Airtel number and trying to get information like this.
I request Airtel to take strict action against this number - or the series of numbers as mentioned above by other users.
Airtel is a brand, and I've been its customer for around 10 years - it should should consider this kind of complaints pretty seriously.
Any amount of money deducted may be re-imbursed back - thats a suggestion.
I hope Airtel keeps up to their brnd vlue and not let it get tarnished like this.
