My order number is 113075791 and I had ordered for a sleeping bag from Indiatimes shopping on June 27th. Immediately after the payment was made by my credit card online, the shipping address (Hyderabad) changed to my billing address (Chennai). I emailed [email protected] and Kishore Kumar replied asking for Hyderabad address. I replied to his email with my Hyderabad address thinking that it was sorted out. Today, June 30th, I'm getting an email that my order has been shipped to Chennai. I called up Customer Care and both agents whom I spoke to said 2 different things. 1 said, Dont take the shipping in Chennai, order will get cancelled and you can place another order. With this kind of service, do yuo ever think I'll come back to Indiatimes to order again? And the other agent said, dont take the delivery in Chennai, it will be sent to Hyderabad. I told her that I spoke to BlueDart and my order has still not been dispatched, so kindly arrange it to be delivered in Hyderabad, instead of my order going to Chennai and coming to Hyderabad, but she refused. A simple coding issue of retaining Billing address and Shipping Address on the site could have avoided this issue. Indiatimes needs to rework on your shopping cart coding and hire some better agents to handle callsupervisor email ID.
