Dear Sir, I am requesting your intervention in one of the frauds from India Today Book Club which has resulted me in spending @30K for purchasing some items after which I will be getting the winning amount of @3.75 Lacs. I havent received any amount and the product received is of very bad quality. After repeated enquiries and emails, I have not received any satisfactory response even after informing them about me going to consumer forum. They are not even giving me the contact information of person who has given me these promises of wining amount nor anyone calling me to discuss.

Commitment given by Sweepstakes Team from India Today Book Club Mr. Mohit Kumar was that I am the winner & winning amount is Rs. 3, 75, 000/-. To avoid paying for the tax on winning amount I had to procure items worth Rs. 29, 000/- plus and once the transactions are completed I would be receiving the email from India Today Book Club on 23rd June with some attachment which I need to fill and send back. Post which they will dispatch the cheque for the winning amount to my residence address (can expect this around 30th June) and I can then deposit that cheque with the bank along with the document that India Today Book Club will send to avoid tax on the winning amount.
After much discussions/arguments and later considering the Brand name of India Today Book Club, I decided to go for transactions as per requirements. After all the transactions he has confirmed that my profile is all complete now and he personally will process this for next actions and I should wait for the email from your team and act on the email once received, which I can expect to receive on my email address by 23rd June.
