Telephone and broadband not working for the past 10 after given 7 reminders

Sub: BSNL – Katpadi telecom division customer - Landline telephone dead for 10 days – no response to the complaints through 198 and the direct complaint made to JTO office complaint register - rectification - waiving of March month telephone bill charges– requested – regarding.

With reference to the above, I would like to bring to your kind attention that I am a BSNL landline customer for the past 5 years. For the past 1 year, I registered more than 50 complaints both through 198 and through Vellore BSNL customer care centre, but the real problem has not been rectified even after repeated complaints made. At present this land line is totally dead for the past 10 days from 19.03.2010 to till date. First I made complaint to Vellore BSNL customer care (0416 2217568) and then registered complaint on JTO office complaint register on 22.3. 24.3. 25.3. 26.3. 29.3.2010 and 30.3.2010 and waited till date for rectification, but none responded. On 22.3. I registered a complaint through 198 (Docket no.11686180062 dated 22.3.2010. Because of this unattended problem, I could not make both STD and local calls to my relatives, friends and others and use internet facility. Even though I opted the internet plan 500C from BSNL, I could not use 175 free calls for the month of March and internet facility. Moreover this problem creates lot of mental stress and agony affected my health seriously. As I am a disabled person, I could not able to contact relatives abroad and other local people during the last week of March and this first week of March. Hence I request that kindly rectify my telephone landline immediately and also waive March month Telephone bill charges.
