Sub: - Negligence from BSNL authorities in attending fault on hot line telephone
connectivity from K.S.E.Board LD Station, Kalamassery to SRLDC, Bangalore.

It is with much displeasure I have to inform you the negligence and laxity showed by the BSNL authorities in attending the trouble shooting of the hot line connectivity between our LD Control room and SRLDC, Bangalore. On Monday 4th June a complaint was lodged with BSNL on this regard and a token no. 44 was obtained. Though the authorities promised to attend the same and bring back the connectivity without much delay, all our efforts and follow up actions failed and the hot line connectivity could be re-established only by 5.15 PM on 07-06-’12 that also only after intervention from the DGM Mr. Pramod Kumar (Telephone No. 9447147800)
In this connection it may kindly be noted that a hot line is maintained by us after paying huge rental charges from our head quarters only because it is that much essential to manage our K.S.E.Board network in accordance with the directions received from the Sub regional Load dispatch centre (SRLDC), Bangalore. The importance of the exclusive Communication Channel between the two offices are that much important as real time operations are going on at these offices round the clock in 3 shifts.
Since the complaint was not rectified even after three days the matter was brought to my notice and I also intervened in the issue, and my experience from the BSNL officers are really pathetic and in vain, which clearly indicate the negligence, laxity and irresponsibility at each end. The following numbers were contacted from this office for follow up action

The above numbers were obtained from one office when contacted for follow up action and is in a chain manner. Finally Sri. Pramod Kumar – DGM was informed about these incidents and I was forced to talk in a little bit hot manner to him as he started me narrating the technical drawbacks and old and outdated equipments that are still in service in BSNL network. However on his intervention even though with much displeasure the connectivity could be reestablished by 5.15PM on 07-06-12.
Things remaining like this I feel much bad about BSNL that
1. They are not giving attention for an important office hot line even after a lapse of 3
full days.
2. The complaint could be rectified within a span of 1 or 1 ½ hours after the
Intervention from the DGM Mr. Pramod Kumar which indicate that the
nature/ severity of complaint was very light but the concerned wing were not
turned up to attend the same.
3. What is the sanctity of keeping a hot line maintained by BSNL after paying huge
rental charges if such irresponsible way of approach is still continued in the BSNL
wing.
Considering all the above I kindly request you to review all these and to have an enquiry to streame line the culprits or to pass appropriate directions/orders so that such laxity and negligence should not recurre so as to deliver a good and acceptable service from the BSNL wing.
