Wrong delivery of product

Hi,

I ordered a Videocon 1.5 ton VITA PLUS -VBS53.CVL1-CR using Letsbuy.com but they delivered Videocon vns53 cd1-ct model. When i asked about the same they told we didn’t have the same model so we delivered the similar model.

Then i asked about refund of amount then they asked for 10 days time to pickup of the unit and only then they can refund my complete amount.

So i asked for compensation, they told that they can give a compensation of RS 500.

I want to just tell how these websites will cheat the customers. Because of these websites everyone are losing credibility on the online shopping. There should be proper law saying that if they send wrong product knowingly then proper penalty should be levied on the Website owners then only these people will stop playing with customers.

The worst reason the website people are giving is we delivered wrong product because we need to deliver the product in time.
