I have recieved a sms on my mobile stating that 'you are qualified for 500, 000 in 2010 total iol mobile monthly reward' and to claim e-mail your name, address and mobile no. at [email protected] .uk. i know this is a fraud and tactics to cheat innocent people, and somebody or some group are doing profitable business out it. my question why telecom companies/govt. or TRAI are not doing anything against these criminals, or atleast they can block such sms. they can be trace out easily. last year my friend got similar kind of sms and they nearly cheated him and then i traced them to from nagaland, India, from there bank account number. so hope somebody will take necessary action to stop these mennace.
