We have got internet service from 7 Star Cable which is a local ISP for Vile Parle (W) area. They have charged us for an annual service and now we are stuck with the after sales service. The internet uptime is not guaranteed and when ever we call to ask for them to fix it the services takes upto 1-2 business days just to show up. Even after fixing the problem, you'll be lucky to not call them in the next 36 hours.
When you call them to get a new line of service they say they have 99.99% uptime... and in very rare cases internet is not available. Yeah right... that doesn't apply after you sign up for an annual service. The downtime is significant... and service is outright sluggish and at times non responsive. They enjoy being in a position where customer is shouting at one end and they have the phone receiver on the side.
