No connection in one month

Hi,

A month back on 22nd May me and my friend approached the person from Airtel kiosk, located inside Infosys campus, for giving us an Airtel Broadband connection. This person (Vinoth) confirmed that Airtel connection can be available at our apartments. Hearing this we immediately paid the money (Rs 900). When we asked for some payment slip he told us that payment slip is not required and we will get the connection within 3 days.

We also received a message from Airtel saying that the request for broadband has been processed successfully and it will be installed within 3 days.

A month has passed and still we have not got the connection. When we approached Vinoth on this issue he gave us a mobile number of another guy (Ravi) who speaks and talks in only Tamil, which, unfortunately we fail to understand. According to Vinoth, this guy is responsible for the connection and Vinoth has nothing to do with it. Last Friday, when I approached Vinoth for re-funding our money, he said that the money is not refundable and we have to wait for the connection.

Since neither my friend nor I know Tamil, so we thought of taking connection with the Infosys campus. However, seeing the state of affairs we don’t know what to do. Kindly suggest how we can get out of this helpless situation as we need the connection urgently.
